I’ve been a huge nerd for Marvel Comics since before I could actually read. But even since day 1, my love has been focused on Uncanny X-Men. In the past decade the book has had some ups and downs, but ever since (the amazing) Matt Fraction took over, it’s been phenomenal. He moved the team to San Fransisco, a city that would celebrate their diversity. He’s proven to be a very queer-friendly writer giving both good screen time to Northstar, but also some great dialogue (as I’ve posted previously).
But to top it all off, dude is a dreamboat.
I totally met him in San Diego in ‘03 and bought a “The Last of the Independents” shirt
